Daily snow conditions and available terrain will dictate where our groups will explore. Some days we will be on groomed terrain learning front-side tactics and techniques, including an introduction to ski racing. As conditions allow, older groups will venture into bumps, trees, and steeps. The daily terrain selection will be based on conditions and the age and skill level of the group. This program focuses on two pillars – a sense of community and safety.Groups are formed based on age and ability. Attendance is paramount to the success of the group, so we ask you to commit to a minimum of 8 of the 10 weeks. Attendance is paramount to the success of the group, and we ask that you commit to a minimum of 8 of the 10 weeks. If you are unable to commit to the entire season, this may impact the group your child is placed in as we see students make major improvements throughout the season.
What Level Is My Skier/Rider?
When selecting the level your child is at, please consider the skills they have, rather than the terrain they can complete. At Roger Page Ski and Ride School, we learn/refine new skills on easier terrain so that we are more successful on difficult terrain. This might feel frustrating at first, but we promise your child will have an opportunity to challenge themselves and improve their technical ability!
